Extra info: The New Dinosaurs is the oft-overlooked middle installment in Dougal Dixon’s speculative evolution trilogy.  Rather than the future, it documents a parallel universe where the K/T Extinction never happened.  Though not up to the same standard of excellence as After Man and Man After Man, it is still an enjoyable and intellectually stimulating book with high quality illustrations.  The art on this page is by Martin Knowelden.
